How to Use a Personal Note to Make a Good Topic For Persuasive Speech
How to Use a Personal Note to Make a Good Topic For Persuasive SpeechIn order to be successful in making a persuasive speech, you need to know what a good topic is and how to make it one. If you know what a good topic is, you can simply write your speech on that topic. You can also use a simple trick of the trade to get your own message across to the people listening. This simple trick will enable you to make your speech about anything but make sure you stick to the point. What I am referring to is a simple trick to writing a speech using facts to stick to the point. People reading your speech can easily forget that you are talking about facts and can move on to the next point. As soon as they are on a different subject, you are off topic.Persuasion is about creating connections between yourself and the audience. The audience can not connect with you if you do not allow them to connect with you. All you have to do is keep the connection going. It is important to use a personal note when you start writing. Try and find something that relates to you personally that you can relate to. This will help you stay connected to your audience and keep the connection alive.Let us take a person that is on the Internet looking for a job. Let us assume they found an ad for a job in Chicago that requires applicants with a work experience. They will probably say something like, 'This is so nice to have such a job and I have always wanted to work in a place like this.' The real connection here is to the first person and how he or she got to this position. What you should do is begin the first person's personal note with, 'I've always wanted to work here too.' This lets the audience connect the position with them. This is a connection, but it is not a direct one. It is not a full on real connection. But after the personal note is made, the audience connects the position with the first person. The first person was able to connect the position with him or her personally and for that the y are grateful. In order to successfully make a persuasive speech you must understand this concept.
